Our history
Affinity Excellence Consulting was founded in June 2022 by James Mills, Jr., a seasoned project management professional with decades of experience. As the owner, president, and principal consultant, Mr. Mills envisioned a firm that could bridge the gap for small and midsized businesses that need robust project management capabilities but lack the resources for a full-time Project Management Office (PMO) lead.
Recognizing that many organizations struggle to implement and sustain effective project management practices, Mr. Mills created Affinity Excellence Consulting to offer expert guidance, tailored solutions, and ongoing support. His mission was clear: to make high-quality project management expertise accessible to a broader audience.
